NEW KIWI ACQUISITION - AFTER THE WATERFALL

After The Waterfall is the first full length feature from award-winning short film make Simon Horrocks and also provides Starr (pictured) with his first lead role in a feature film.

Set at Piha, the Outrageous Fortune star plays a forest ranger haunted by the disappearance of his daughter and the subsequent break-up of his marriage. Joining Starr is the cast are the likes of Cohen Holloway (Eagle vs Shark), Sally Stockwell (The Ferryman) and Peter McCauley (Perfect Creature).

The film is being produced by Trevor Haysom (In My Father’s Den) and funded by The New Zealand Film Commission. Rialto will release the film theatrically next year.
